The Saint Louis Art Fair Student Mentoring Program was developed in conjunction with the Washington University School
of Art to prepare students for careers in the arts that include the Art Fair industry.
Each year, Art Fair artists are asked to share their knowledge, insight and experience by allowing one student to shadow them throughout the festival weekend.
This year, the mentored students from the 2007 show (Zoe Hillenmeyer, Kelly Diehl, Emily Silber, Alayna Prenger, Irene Compadre, Cassie Hamrick, Jennifer Brown and Alex Radunz) will exhibit their own work in booths 302
& 304. This is the final component necessary for the student to fully understand all aspects of the Art Fair industry.
We thank Ron Fondaw, Professor of Art at Washington University, Sharron Pollack, Associate Professor of Art at Saint Louis
University and Anisa Phillips, a senior in Printmaking at Washington University, for their hard work and dedication in organizing the mentoring program. |
